Kansas Jayhawks name Rock Chalk Block Party headliner
LAWRENCE (KSNT) – Kansas Athletics is building excitement for the 3rd Annual Rock Chalk Block Party Friday by revealing the headliner for the September event.
The free event, set for Friday, Sept. 27, takes place the night before the Jayhawks take on TCU on Mass Street between 10th and 11th Street. Musical talent present to entertain attendees includes the KU Band and Spirit, country/hip-hop artist David Morris and Shaboozey, who specializes in alt-country/hip-hop. The schedule for the event is below:
5:30 p.m. – gates open. Music and activities begin.
7:30 p.m. – KU Pep Rally featuring KU Band and Spirit and guest speakers.
7:55 p.m. – David Morris
8:30 p.m. – Shaboozey
Kansas Football faces off against TCU on Saturday, Sept 28 for the annual Family Day Game. Single game tickets for the contest at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium become available in early August.

Kansas Athletics said the four-game season ticket package, including all games at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, is still on sale.
