Kanye West says he and Kim almost had an abortion when pregnant with North
Kanye gave an emotional speech in his first presidential campaign rally over the weekend, in which he said that he and Kim had considered having an abortion while she was pregnant with their first child North, before she made the decision to continue the pregnancy.
In tears, Kanye made the claims to rally attendees, linking it back to a similar decision made by his parents before he was born, "My mum saved my life," he said. "My Dad wanted to abort me… My mum saved my life, there would have been no Kanye West because my dad was too busy."
He continued, "In the Bible, it says, 'Thou shall not kill'. I remember that my girlfriend called me screaming and crying, and I was just thinking, because at that time I was a rapper I was out there, [I had] different girlfriends and everything… and she said, 'I’m pregnant'. And I said, 'Yes!' And then I said, 'Uh oh'.
"She was crying… and for one month and two months and three months, we talked about her not having this child. She had the pills in her hand," he continued. "I’m in the apartment where my wife was actually robbed, and I have my laptop up and I have all of my creative ideas, I’ve got my shoes, I’ve got my next song cover… and the screen went black and white. And God said, 'If you f**k with my vision I’m gonna f**k with yours'."

He continued, "And I called my wife and she said, 'We’re gonna have this baby', and I said 'We’re gonna have this child'."
Later in his speech Kanye told attendees, "Even if my wife wants to divorce me after this speech she brought North into the world even when I didn’t want to. She stood up and she protected that child."
At the rally Kanye told fans that he is pro-choice and believes that mother's should be paid $1m each in a bid to prevent abortions, this contradicts his comments in a Forbes article earlier this month in which he stated, "I am pro-life because I’m following the word of the bible".
Kanye's presidential bid has been met with mixed reactions, with Kim reportedly saying she supports him absolutely but finds all the attention stressful, meanwhile the Kardashian family is concerned about his tendency to overwork, and Caitlyn has even suggested she would like to be his vice president.
