Kanye West Delivers Surprise Performance of New Song 'Vultures' in Dubai

The rapper performed alongside Lil Durk and Ty Dolla $ign Sunday night

Kanye West delivered a surprise performance of a new song on Sunday night in Dubai.

The "I Love It" rapper, 46, appeared on stage during Lil Durk's concert alongside Ty Dolla $ign at Blu Dubai, where he was featured singing his new song "Vultures."

The night club shared video of West's performance on Instagram Stories, which showcased the musician rapping offensive lyrics from the track like, "How am I antisemitic? I just f---ed a Jewish bitch.”

"Vultures," West's first official release since "Hot Shit" with Cardi B and Lil Durk last July — initially debuted on Nov. 17 on the Chicago radio station WPWX Power 92 and features Lil Durk and Ty Dolla $ign, per Billboard.

In addition to the antisemitic lyrics, West also appears to reference his former manager Scooter Braun. “I just f---ed Scooter’s bitch,” he raps before citing the Columbine High School shooting tragedy.

Last October, West's repeated antisemitic comments prompted him to forfeit his billionaire status after losing deals with Adidas, Balenciaga and Gap.

The Grammy-winning artist, who was worth $6.6 billion as of March 2021, was projected to be worth $400 million in October 2022 according to Forbes — money that comes from his several real estate properties, music catalog, cash and a 5% stake in ex-wife Kim Kardashian's Skims shapewear brand.

At the time, he also entered into an agreement to purchase the right-wing social media platform Parler after his Instagram and Twitter accounts were restricted due to offensive comments toward the Jewish community, though figures were not disclosed and the deal ultimately fell through.

After he shared the antisemitic comments, Instagram restricted his account and deleted content from his page after he violated the social media platform's rules and guidelines, according to NBC News and CNN, although a Meta spokesperson did not confirm to either outlet what content violated their rules.

After one of his tweets violated the company's rules, his Twitter account was restricted. The American Jewish Committee (AJC) also called out the "Bound 2" performer's language for perpetuating "antisemitic tropes like greed and control," writing in a statement: "Kanye West should figure out how to make a point without using antisemitism. Over the last week, the musician has fomented hatred of Jews."

During an appearance on Piers Morgan Uncensored on Oct. 19, he was probed by the British host about his "racist" comments that "insult the Jewish people," however West said he was "absolutely not" sorry for what he said.

"So you said it knowing it's racist?" Morgan asked, to which West replied: "Yes. I fought fire with fire."

Later in the conversation, West offered an apology. "I will say I'm sorry for the people that I hurt," he said. "I feel like I cause hurt and confusion, and I'm sorry for the families of the people that had nothing to do with the trauma that I had been through and that I use my platform where you say, 'Hurt people hurt people,' and I was hurt."
