Talk of Kanye West running for president in 2020 made its way to this year’s iHeart Radio Music Festival and Billboard wanted to know: What musician would make the ideal running mate?

Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, and Big Sean (who nominated himself) were a few of the names suggested.

“It should be Taylor Swift,” Echosmith’s Sydney Sierota told Billboard. “Because who wouldn’t want the queen, and probably the new king, of music to be running the country?”

And almost everyone agreed that you can’t go wrong with a musical White House. The guys of Disclosure think it would be great if ‘Ye’s craft crossed over with his presidential duties.

“I think maybe it would be cool if he could deliver all of his ideas in rap format,” Howard Lawrence said. “Yeah, that is good,” added his brother and Disclosure groupmate Guy, “all of his speeches are raps.”
