Kate Beckinsale Debuts 'Strawberry Whipped Cream' Hair at Pomeranian Party — See Her Bold Transformation!

Beckinsale and her dog had a day out — where she showed off her brand-new hairstyle

Kate Beckinsale's got a brand-new 'do.

The actress, 51, took her dog to a Pomeranian party on Aug. 18, hosted by content creator Lara Eurdolian, where she showed off a new bubblegum pink hairstyle.

In photos shared to her Instagram on Aug. 19, Beckinsale's long pink hair was on full display, held back in a black headband. Her hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos also shared a photo of Beckinsale's new look, touting his work and calling the color "STRAWBERRY whipped cream."

The pro noted that he used L'Oréal Paris Feria Smokey Pink color on her locks and tagged in hairstylist Rob Scheppy as well. Whether or not Beckinsale's hair is extensions, a wig or her real hair is the true mystery. Whatever the case, the strawberry whipped cream shade is the perfect whimsical color for the end of the summer.

Beckinsale is all about making a statement on Instagram — especially with her look.

In July, she rocked a swimsuit in a post that read, "I did not ask your opinion." the custom piece was created for her by the brand Mua Mua. She wore the suit with a large hat and posed by the pool, ever so coolly.

Mua Mua shared the photos to its own page, prompting one user to comment, "I don't have much of an opinion here but I do wonder why all the Instagram posts if you're not interested in people's opinions."

The brand replied, "Kate was bullied on line so I made her that swimsuit."

The statement-making swimsuit is likely in response to the criticism Beckinsale has faced over her appearance amid her recent health crisis. She revealed last month that she'd burned "a hole" in her esophagus that resulted in her vomiting "copious amounts of blood." She spent weeks in the hospital earlier this year.
