Kate Beckinsale Deletes Instagram Photos from Hospital amid Undisclosed Health Issues
The actress, 50, has posted cryptic photos from a hospital bed since March 11
Kate Beckinsale is seemingly taking a step back from posting about her undisclosed health issues.
The week of April 7, the 50-year-old actress deleted all of her Instagram posts about her recent hospital stay, nearly a month after first revealing that she was “sick.”
The Underworld star’s cryptic social media activity even caught the attention of her fans, with many questioning if she’s okay on her Instagram page.
Beckinsale first sparked concerns with her hospital stay when she shared two teary-eyed photos of herself from the hospital and referred to being "sick” in an Instagram post on March 11.

On March 19, the actress continued to post from the hospital as she paid tribute to her late father, Richard Beckinsale, who died in 1979, and her stepfather Roy Battersby, who died at age 87 on Jan. 10.
She also celebrated the Easter holiday with a post on Instagram that showed her in the hospital wearing a pair of festive-themed socks.
On April 4, Beckinsale even posted photos from her hospital bed while getting a visit from her pal Jonathan Voluck. The duo appeared to be wearing peanut headbands as they flashed a smile at the camera in the snap.
While Beckinsale hasn't publicly addressed the reason behind her hospitalization, she has denied being treated for a ruptured cyst or endometriosis. She remarked on the former condition in response to a follower’s comment on Instagram.
"I didn’t have a ruptured cyst since 2019. But thank you so much for your kind wishes x,” she wrote, referring to a ruptured ovarian cyst she suffered in January 2019.
