Kate Beckinsale, Kelly Rowland and Rumer Willis Set to Join amfAR’s Venice Gala
More stars are heading to Italy to join amfAR at the organization’s annual fundraiser during the 81st Venice International Film Festival.
Kate Beckinsale is set to host the black-tie gala, which will feature performances by longtime amfAR supporter Kelly Rowland and actress-turned-singer Rumer Willis. As previously announced, veteran actor Richard Gere will be presented with amfAR’s Award of Inspiration while film producer and philanthropist Mohammed Al Turki, former CEO of the Red Sea Film Festival, will be honored with a philanthropic leadership award.

Event Chairs include Jomana Al Rashid, Achille Boroli, Willem Dafoe, Matteo Fantacchiotti, Alejandra Gere, Andrei Gillott, Harry Goodwins, Lucien Laviscount, Julian Lennon, Catherine O’Hara, Caroline Scheufele, David Tait, Emir Uyar, Jon Watts, amfAR board members Tony Mancilla and Vin Roberti, and amfAR board co-chairs T. Ryan Greenawalt and Kevin McClatchy.
Set to take place on Sept. 1, amfAR Venezia will be hosted at Hangar Nicelli on the Lido. Presenting sponsors are World Gold Council and the Red Sea International Film Festival with Chopard and Campari set as signature sponsors. San Clemente Palace Kempinski is the official hotel partner while Uber, Boroli Wines and Rumor Rosé are also providing support.
