During the ongoing Venice Film Festival, Kate Beckinsale walked the blue carpet for the amfAR Gala Venezia 2024. The “Underworld” star displayed glamour in a bedazzled baby pink bodysuit. The outfit’s glittery floral design also included delicate feather-like embellishments. Kate topped the bodysuit with a silver corset paired with a baby pink floor-length train. Sporting an updo hairstyle, the star continued the sparkly ensemble with drop earrings, a cuff bracelet, and platform heels. To complete the look, Kate carried a silver pearl-adorned bag.
Per The Hollywood Reporter, Kate welcomed the guests as they arrived inside the gala and took their seats. After thanking the sponsors, the “Pearl Harbor” actress presented a video of amfAR’s research and work in AIDS prevention over the years. Furthermore, Kate asked the audience to give applause for Elizabeth Taylor, who co-founded the foundation. “I believe she’s always here,” Kate said as she remembered the late actress and activist.
Earlier this year, Kate was hospitalized for six weeks as she battled health issues, reported Los Angeles Times. The actress, who had been going through “stress and grief,” revealed the cause while she clapped back at body-shamers. Kate wrote, “The grief had burned a hole in my [esophagus] which made me vomit blood.” The actress returned to the spotlight during the summer following her health crisis.
