Kate Middleton has been “out and about” with her family as she continues to receive treatment for her cancer diagnosis, according to a report.

The Princess of Wales, 42, is in the thick of chemotherapy treatment following her diagnosis in March.

She has remained largely out of the public eye so far this year, and might remain behind closed doors for much longer.

Kensington Palace’s correspondence team revealed that they have been “so touched” by the outpouring love and support shown to the Princess since news of her health woes came to light.

The palace has reportedly been inundated with “tens of thousands” of get-well-soon cards for the mom of three, the Daily Mail reports.

According to the outlet, the Palace receives up to 1,000 letters in a typical week — but this number has seen a significant increase since the Princess’s cancer announcement.

What’s more, the volume of letters and well wishes sent to the royal have made it difficult for the correspondence team to sort through it all.

Rest assured, all writers will receive a response, the outlet adds.

Last week, royal insiders claimed that Middleton may “not appear in public for the rest of the year” as she continues chemotherapy treatment.

“Lots of people involved in planning need to know what all the principals are doing a long way in advance. I am told that Kate’s diary for this year is empty. There is nothing planned. She may not appear in public for the rest of the year,” a royal source told The Daily Beast.

The insider noted that the palace is aware a prolonged absence could lead to further speculation about the princess’ condition.

“I would not rule out another video message updating the country on her health,” the source said. “That proved to be a very effective way of keeping the conspiracy theorists at bay.”

In a pre-recorded video statement on March 22, Princess Catherine said doctors discovered her cancer during a planned abdominal surgery in January, and noted that she is now in the early stages of “a course of preventative chemotherapy.”

She’s not the only royal dealing with health woes, as Charles, 75, revealed his cancer diagnosis in February, while Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, announced her battle with an aggressive skin cancer in January.
