Kate Middleton's Mom Spotted at Wimbledon Amid Daughter's Cancer Battle
Kate Middleton's parents were spotted enjoying the annual tennis championships at Wimbleton for the second time this year as their daughter remains mostly out of the public eye during her cancer treatment.
Carole Middleton, 69, has been embracing florals this summer, spotted most recently in a light and airy frock as she and husband Michael, 75, arrived for the 10th day of the 2024 Wimbledon Championships at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London on Wednesday, July 10.
The Middleton family matriarch was draped in a white, v-neck dress with bright green flowers underneath a gray striped blazer, while her husband wore a navy pair of trousers along with a navy tie and a light blue button-up underneath a cream-colored jacket.
Earlier this month, the two arrived for the fourth day of the championships on July 4 in bluer tones, with Michael decked out in varying shades of the color with a yellow patterned tie as Carole dressed in a white dress with green, blue, and pink patterned florals underneath a white blazer.
Fans have hoped to see the Princess of Wales make an appearance in the celebrity-filled audience, as her surprise appearance at Trooping the Colour last month marked her first official public outing in months as she recuperates from surgery and undergoes chemotherapy.
Unfortunately for royal watchers, it seems unlikely to happen, as the princess mourned the end of Andy Murray's Wimbledon career from afar when the pro tennis player's partner pulled out of the competition due to wrist stiffness.
