Kate Moss and Daughter Lila Moss Both Walk Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show Runway for the First Time

Kate Moss, one of the most iconic supermodels of the ’90s, made her long-awaited debut on the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show runway on Tuesday in New York during the brand’s 2024 presentation. Despite her long-standing career in fashion, this marked Moss’s first appearance for the storied runway show. Known for her work with leading luxury brands and high-fashion editorials, Moss’ participation added a layer of excitement.

For her runway look, Moss wore a daring ensemble. She donned a see-through black lace slipdress, layered over a black bodysuit that featured strategic abdominal cutouts. The intricate lace design of the slipdress gave her look a classic touch, while the cutouts added a contemporary, bold element. Completing her look, Moss wore a pair of large black feathered angel wings, a signature of the Victoria’s Secret show, giving her an ethereal yet commanding presence on the runway.

Moss was in good company, walking alongside fellow supermodel icons who made their return to the Victoria’s Secret runway, including Carla Bruni, Tyra Banks, Alessandra Ambrosio and Adriana Lima. The show served as a celebration of past and present supermodels, uniting a group of women who helped shape the fashion industry over the years.

Adding to the significance of the evening, moments before Kate Moss took the runway, her daughter, Lila Moss, made her own Victoria’s Secret debut. Lila made her runway debut with Miu Miu in 2020. The mother-daughter moment on the Victoria’s Secret runway was not their first time sharing the runway; in 2021, the duo walked together at Kim Jones’s spring 2021 Fendi haute couture show.

After a six-year hiatus, the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is back. The 2024 spectacle airs live on Prime Video and across the brand’s YouTube, Instagram and TikTok channels. Former Angels such as Tyra Banks, Alessandra Ambrosio and Taylor Hill will walk the runway alongside new faces like Paloma Elsesser and Devyn Garcia. Cher, Tyla and Lisa of Blackpink are the evening’s musical guests.
