Kate Upton and Kelly Clarkson bond over the torturous pains of breastfeeding
On Wednesday's episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, Kate Upton and Kelly Clarkson bonded over their breastfeeding struggles.
"The hormones are crazy and no one talks about it," Upton said. “The hormones after pregnancy, for me, were crazier than when I was pregnant."
Ten months ago, Upton gave birth to her first child, daughter Genevieve Upton Verlander, with husband Justin Verlander of the Houston Astros.
Upton went on to tell Clarkson of breastfeeding, "Our energy is literally being sucked out of us, so you don't feel like yourself... it is so difficult and something people need to talk about it more.”
Clarkson added, "Pumping is the worst! It’s so painful. I don’t care what anyone says.”
Upton’s segment really hit home for a lot of viewers since she also talked about body positivity especially after giving birth.
A fan commented on the supermodel’s Instagram page writing, “Thank you for the reminder about being proud of our bodies for growing a life. I just had my fourth little baby 2 weeks ago and was already feeling the pressure (mostly internal) of getting my body back to ‘normal’ I loved the segment today and it was a much-needed reminder for me.”
Other fans called Upton an inspiration and a super mom, “I just watched the show and can’t thank you enough for being so inspiring and so amazing inside and out.”
