For the event, Winslet made a bold statement in a black-and-white look. The actress fashioned an oversize double-breasted white blazer. The blazer’s long sleeves were cuffed to Winslet’s elbow. Beneath her blazer, Winslet wore a black top.
For the rest of her look, Winslet wore a pair of black skinny pants. As for her shoes, Winslet wore a pair of pointed-toe black heels with floral embellishments, adding a feminine pop to her striking attire.
When it came to her accessories, Winslet wore layers of delicate necklaces, a watch and bracelets. Her hair was parted on the side and styled in natural waves.
Prior to the FYC event inside the Paramount Theatre, Winslet channeled her “Regime” character while posing for photos. The limited series isn’t the only major project Winslet had this year. In 2023, the actress starred in the biopic “Lee,” about famed World War II photographer Elizabeth “Lee” Miller.
The film is due to release in theaters in the U.S. this September, which means Winslet could hit the red carpet again for a few events, premieres and more. For now, however, Winslet is focused on “The Regime” following the six-episode series’ dramatic finale last April.
Winslet stars in the Max miniseries “The Regime” as Elena Vernham, the chancellor of a European country. As Chancellor Vernham tries to keep up appearances, the country begins to fall apart behind the gilded palace walls. The limited series is available to stream on Max.
