In the photo, we see Shriver and Schwarzenegger looking as happy as can be while having fun in the sun. (We also see pics of Shriver in front of a mansion, a sunset, and a Dunkins cup.)
Now, in this first photo, we see ever more of Schwarzenegger’s eclectic maternity style, which is clearly inspired by her mom’s aesthetic: the coastal grandmother aesthetic.
For those who don’t know, the coastal grandmother aesthetic is all about beachy vibes, which Schwarzenegger nailed with this look: she has blue and white clothes, along with dainty jewelry and a light slip! Her mom, Shriver, often opts for this aesthetic, and it seems now that Schwarzenegger is embracing it with her maternity style!
For those who don’t know, Schwarzenegger and her husband Chris Pratt welcomed two daughters together named Lyla Maria, born in Aug 2020, and Eloise Christina, born in May 2022. And in the summer of 2024, they confirmed they’re expecting another baby soon. (Pratt also has a son named Jack, born on Aug 2012, with his ex-wife Anna Faris.)
In a previous interview with SheKnows, Schwarzenegger talked about how she stays grounded and how she ensures her parenting style stays true to her.
“I think really staying true to how you want to raise your children, how you want to raise your family, what you want to do as a parent is so important and to not get caught up in people’s silly criticism of your choices,” she said.
