Katie Holmes Favors Exaggerated Sleeves in Mock-neck Heirlome Blouse for Broadway’s ‘Our Town’ Red Carpet Premiere
Katie Holmes attended the Broadway opening of “Our Town” on Thursday at the Barrymore Theatre in New York City. The show is a revival of Thornton Wilder’s 1938 play, brought back to life by director Kenny Leon.
Though Holmes was not performing, she still made her presence known on the red carpet in an Heirlome ensemble.

She wore an elegant all-black ensemble, including a flowy silk satin mock-neck blouse with exaggerated long sleeves. The blouse was neatly tucked into a tailored skirt with a knee-height slit. The skirt almost resembled a pair of trousers as it featured belt loops, front pleats and a fly zipper, making for a fun touch to the simple outfit. Holmes wore sheer stockings and square-toe heels with a metallic toe cap that added another fun detail to the look.
Holmes opted for statement drop earrings that offered a geometric layer to the look. The earrings were designed by the French high jewelry brand, Reza. The white gold Chandelier Swirl Earrings featured blue and pink sapphires. She also wore a statement ring made of yellow gold with a pink sapphire. She accessorized with a CH Carolina Herrera clutch.
In June, Holmes collaborated with French ready-to-wear denim brand A.P.C., which featured an array of closet staples, from jeans to shirts and skirts. Holmes has worn A.P.C., an abbreviation for Atelier de Production et de Création, pieces and designs since the 1990s. “A.P.C. is a beautiful French brand and one that I have loved since I discovered it,” Holmes said at the time of the release. “The simplicity of design is born out of sophisticated consistency to details and form. A.P.C. is not only elegant in life, but I have also used it many times for costumes in film as its classic design is timeless.”
