Katie Holmes Pairs Navy Blue Loafers With Banana Republic Outfit for an NYC Outing
More from Footwear News
Katie Holmes was out in New York City on Oct. 3 wearing a classic fall outfit curated from Banana Republic pieces, which she complemented with navy blue loafers.
Holmes hit the streets of New York in a crisp pair of medium wash jeans with a wide leg silhouette; they resembled the pants Banana Republic refers to as The Icon Classic Wide-Leg Jean, which is offered in four different shades for $120. The actress paired the jeans with a light yellow fitted turtleneck which was worn underneath a cream colored peacoat.
The shirt appeared to be Banana Republic’s $70 Luxe Wool-Blend Turtleneck T-Shirt in Biscotti Beige while the coat seemed to be the brand’s $450 Splittable Wool Blend Peacoat in Butter Yellow. The coat is designed with an oversized fit and crafted from a double-cloth fabric (called “splittable wool.”)
For her footwear, Holmes selected a pair of navy blue loafers, which she also wore the day before with a blue plaid coat from Sézane. The shoes feature a leather upper, thin piping and a band across the top with a cutout. The shoes also feature a rounded toe and a low block heel. With their subtle navy hue, the shoes seamlessly blended with her jeans and served as an unobtrusive but classy complement to her classic Banana Republic ensemble.
Holmes was already known as a devotee of both Banana Republic and loafers. Back in April, she wore a denim-on-denim look from the brand and paired the outfit with unique square-toe loafers from Acne Studios. She is also a fan of Gucci’s classic horsebit loafer, having stepped out in a black pair in the past.
