Katy Perry Goes Graphic in Balenciaga Patchwork T-shirt Dress for ‘143’ Album Interview
Katy Perry put an edgy spin on the humble graphic T-shirt while out in London on Thursday. The singer promoted her forthcoming “143” album on the radio show Capital Breakfast.
Perry selected a formfitting Balenciaga maxidress with excess fabric draped down the sides. She accessorized with a pair of the label’s oversize Bossy Mask sunglasses and BB Soft Hobo handbag. Perry completed her look with layered silver bracelets and towering platform boots.

The pop star wore her black tresses straightened, while her makeup featured rosy blush and pink lip liner.
Last month, Perry attended Balenciaga’s fall 2024 couture show in Paris, going topless in an open-front faux-fur coat. She also wore a pair of ripped semi-sheer black tights that extended into boots, topping off her ensemble with bug-eyed black sunglasses.
The fashion house’s latest campaign, revealed last week, stars Kim Kardashian, Naomi Watts and Isabelle Huppert. Kardashian exchanges her long black tresses for a Marilyn Monroe-inspired crop. The reality star and Skims founder, alongside Watts and Huppert, models Balenciaga’s signature ready-to-wear line and the brand’s new Rodeo handbag.
Photographed by Nadav Kander, the Characters campaign sees “each star show a facet of herself by creating a character study”: Kardashian a blonde bombshell, Watts a forlorn femme fatale and Huppert the epitome of Hollywood glitz and glamour.
Balenciaga debuted the Rodeo in May with a campaign fronted by Nicole Kidman and Amelia Gray. Inspired by the “legendary intersection of luxury and fashion, Rodeo Drive,” the calfskin tote features a matte finish, accordion pleats and a turn lock closure. It comes in four sizes and multiple colorways.
