Katy Perry Opens the Portal to Her ‘Woman’s World’ in New Music Video
Katy Perry has opened the portal to her latest studio album 143 with “Woman’s World.”
The video features Perry waterfalling a bottle of “Whisky for Women,” brandishing a hot pink vibrator, and pretending to pee in a urinal all within the first 50 seconds of the song. Elsewhere, she gets crushed under a gigantic anvil and shoves a gas nozzle into her butt to refuel. Trisha Paytas also makes a cameo, pulling a huge monster truck by a rope before driving it with Perry sitting shotgun.

“It’s a woman’s world and you’re lucky to be living in it,” Perry sings on the record. She teased the video earlier this week with a trailer in which she breaks a million safety code violations to work on a construction site while dressed as a risqué Rosie the Riveter.
As the lead single for 143, out on Sept. 20, “Woman’s World” offers the first glimpse into Perry’s first album in four years. “I set out to create a bold, exuberant, celebratory dance-pop album with the symbolic 143 numerical expression of love as a throughline message,” she said in a statement about the album.
Last month, Rolling Stone reported that Perry recruited her former Teenage Dream collaborators Dr. Luke, Max Martin, and Stargate for the new record, as well as a few others she hasn’t worked as closely with in the past.
“Katy knew exactly the album she wanted to make and put together the team to make it happen,” a Capitol Records source told Rolling Stone. “And that includes previous collaborators including Luke, Stargate, Max Martin, and Sarah Hudson, and some new heavy hitters such as Vaughn Oliver, Rocco Valdes, and Theron Thomas.”
