Katy Perry reacts to viral photo of fiancé Orlando Bloom checking out Kim Kardashian’s butt
There’s nothing to roar about here.
Katy Perry appeared on the “Elvis Duran Show” Tuesday and was asked point-blank about the viral photo of her fiancé, Orlando Bloom, checking out Kim Kardashian’s butt at a New York Fashion Week event.
“Can I show the latest clickbait that just came over my TMZ? Have you seen this?” Elvis Duran asked Perry, 39.
After the radio host, 60, brought up the situation to Perry, he defended Bloom, 47, for seemingly taking a peek at Kardashian’s behind.
“I mean, how could you not?” he said.
“I approve,” Perry joked.
Duran read the article aloud to Perry. When he said “the images captured Orlando with his hand right above Katy’s butt,” the “Woman’s World” singer interjected, “It’s been other places. Sorry to tell you.”
“My daughter is 4,” added Perry, referring to her and Bloom’s daughter, Daisy Dove.
She then asked Duran, “So wait, what’s the controversy?”
“There is no controversy,” Duran told the pop star. “That’s my whole point.”
“Oh great. Count that click, honey,” Perry said with a smirk on her face.
When asked if she needs “more controversy,” Perry replied, “Oh just …17 years. Seventeen years of this.”
The viral photo of Perry, Bloom and Kardashian, 43, was taken Monday at the Kering Caring for Women Dinner during New York Ready to Wear Fashion Week.
In the snapshot, Bloom stood behind Perry and his eyes wandered toward Kardashian, who was next to the couple.
The reality star had on a white sleeveless bodycon dress that highlighted her curves.
Perry, who was wearing a strapless turquoise Balenciaga gown, didn’t appear to notice her fiancé checking out another woman in the moment.
The couple, who have been together for eight years, posed together on the red carpet at the Kering Foundation. Bloom looked handsome in a black suit and bowtie.
Perry’s relationship with the “Pirates of the Carribean” actor has been in the headlines following her interview on Alex Cooper’s “Call Her Daddy” podcast last week.
The “Firework” singer confessed on the podcast that she rewards Bloom with oral sex for doing household chores.
Her NSFW remark went viral on social media and even prompted the perfect response from Bloom.
Perry also shared on the podcast that the couple broke up for one year early in their relationship. She said the split “saved my life. I would be dead without it.”
The two stars started dating after a run-in at a Golden Globes party in 2016. They got engaged in February 2019 and welcomed their daughter in August 2020.
Perry was previously married to Russell Brand from 2010 until 2012.
Bloom, meanwhile, was married to Miranda Kerr from 2010 to 2013, and they share a son, Flynn, 13.
