KCET Tops 2018 Los Angeles Area Emmy Awards
KCET led all stations in the Los Angeles Area Emmy Awards, which were handed out on Saturday night at the Television Academy’s Saban Media Center.
The station received 11 awards, with prizes going to the feature segment “The Green Book (Lost LA),” the culture/history program “Tending the Wild,” the information segment “The Price of Freedom” and the local color program “Alta California (The Migrant Kitchen).”
The Spanish-language channel KMEX won seven awards, while ABC7 and Fox SportsNet LA each received five. CBS2/KCAP9 and KVEA received four.
