Keira Knightley and her husband James Righton are throwing it back to the start of their romance.

On Tuesday, Aug. 5, Knightley, 39, and Righton, 40, appeared on the Ruthie's Table 4 podcast, presented by iHeartPodcasts, where they discussed their love for food as a couple, how they first met back in 2011 and musician Righton's amusing distaste for using condiments with food.

"I knew that it was serious when he very seriously turned around to me and said, 'You know, if you want to keep mayonnaise in the fridge, you can,' " Knightley recalled at one point during the episode. "And I was like, wow."

"You knew I was the one," Righton added.

Knightley and Righton married in May 2013 and share two children: Edie Knightley Righton, 9, and Delilah Knightley Righton, 4. Though Knightley has shared in the past that she and Righton first met "in a very drunken way," the Pride & Prejudice star revealed during the podcast that she met her husband not long after her agent told her he had dreamed she would soon meet her future husband.

"So that week my agent said to me, 'I've had this dream – I was single – I've had a dream that you're meeting your future husband this week,' and I was like, 'That's exciting,' " she shared. "So I got invited out to loads of things and I have to say I'd met a load of people that week and I was like, this isn't happening."

Knightley recalled that she decided to attend an Academy Awards viewing party that she otherwise did not care to attend in the hopes she would meet somebody. Initially, the event proved a bust, until her friend Tim Phillips called and told her he would come by with friends.

"Anyway, the door of this private room opens and my friend Tim's head comes around [with another friend] and the third head to come around was James," she said. "And James grabbed a seat and said, 'Hello, I'm your future husband,' and there he is. And we basically ate and drank until we got married. Well, drank until I got pregnant.”

Knightley and Righton celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary together in May. During their joint podcast appearance, the actress said that she thinks she and Righton would never have begun dating if she had not acted in a play based in London.

"It was great because it was a bunch of girls, we were all in our early [to] mid-twenties," Knightley said. "We were all single and we were having a really, really, really, really good time and so I met [James] in the middle of that when he was also having a really, really, really, really good time."
