Keith Urban Gives Honest Opinion of Taylor Swift—And He Has Nothing More to Say
Taylor Swift and Keith Urban
Keith Urban is running out of words to describe Taylor Swift's musical talent.
The country music icon opened up in a new interview about his thoughts on Swift's brand new album, The Tortured Poets Department, admitting that there are "really no adjectives" to verbalize Swift's songwriting skills at this point.
"I mean, God, Taylor's songwriting, it's so extraordinary," he told PEOPLE in an interview published Wednesday, May 8. "There's really no adjectives for it."
"She's such a great, great writer," the 56-year-old crooner added, while calling Swift's new album, "just more proof of that in really great ways."
Swift, 34, released the 31-song double album The Tortured Poets: The Anthology on April 19, immediately smashing records for the most single-day streams on Spotify and the fastest album to reach one billion streams on Spotify, among several other notable feats.
And Urban isn't the only celeb who has spoken out about Swift's undeniable influence on the music scene, as other major names in the industry, including Shania Twain, Pearl Jam's Jeff Ament, Sheryl Crow and several other stars have also applauded the "Fortnight" songstress for her accomplishments in recent months.
Even Donna Kelce, the mom of Swift's boyfriend Travis Kelce, gave a glowing review of TTPD, revealing that she had already listened to the "whole album" just days after its release.
Mama Kelce said she was "very impressed" by Swift's latest work, calling her, "a very talented woman."
"I think it is probably her best work," Kelce, 71, added at the time.
