Keke Palmer Defends Kylie Jenner in Rambling Instagram Post
Actress Keke Palmer of Scream Queens has taken to Instagram to defend Kylie Jenner.
Her rambling post begins by referring to Donald Trump’s election victory, then meandered into the dangers of reality TV, and finally settled on a primary subject (I think), which was Kylie Jenner.
Palmer compares two photos of Kylie to illustrate her point, one reportedly from 2012 and one from this year. She criticizes society’s double standard, saying of Kylie, “she was bullied and named ugly … [then] she had the money to change, she ‘fixed’ what the world said was broken and …. now you are mad that it was that easy?”
The post goes off on tangents a little, but Palmer’s main argument seems to be that we, as a society, have been conditioned to love the perception of someone, not who they really are.
She continued: “It’s all been brought to another level because being fraudulent is our countries [sic] most popular trend. If only we could accept one another instead of bullying each other into change.”
