Kellan Lutz Installed ‘Problematic’ Christmas Decorations at Home, Says Wife: ‘Scared the Crap Out of Me’
The mom of two revealed the questionable setup in a series of videos shared to her Instagram Story on Thursday
Kellan Lutz’s wife Brittany is not a fan of the way her husband set up their Christmas decorations this year.
The Twilight star's spouse took to her Instagram Story on Thursday to reveal the unusual way her husband situated several large inflatable decorations outside of their home.
“My husband flipped the 8 ft inflatable decorations (t-Rex, gingerbread man and snowman) to face INSIDE the house because he wanted our daughter to be able to enjoy them,” she captioned the video on her Story. Brittany shares daughter Ashtyn, 2, and son Kasen, 1, with Kellan.

In the clip, she zooms in on each figure’s lit-up face peering through the windows of their house. She adds that while the gesture is “sweet,” it also isn’t the most practical setup in her eyes.
“It’s problematic for two reasons,” she says. “1. He did not notify me of this plan and when I saw them they scared the crap out of me. And 2. Do you know how odd it looks from the street to just see the backsides of these things looking into our house?”

On Friday, Brittany unveiled another inflatable penguin that was set up in their backyard after someone sent her a direct message saying, “Maybe get one or two small ones for the backyard so these guys can face forward.”
She responded, “If you know my husband you know that they're in the backyard too,” followed by more crying laughing emojis.
Kellan also made sure to share his handiwork in an Instagram post on Friday. “Got some company @brittanylynnlutz ??,” he wrote beside a zoomed in shot of the three decorations.

Kellan and Brittany secretly tied the knot in Nov. 2017 after the actor confirmed they were engaged during an appearance on Steve in October of that year. He told PEOPLE later in the month that Brittany had been his fiancée for well over a year and that they were “way too chill” about getting married.
The couple announced their nuptials with separate posts on Instagram, and they welcomed their first child together, daughter Ashtyn, in 2021.
