Kelly Clarkson brings her powerful voice and bubbly personality to 'The Voice'

The OG American Idol winner, Kelly Clarkson, took a seat on The Voice as this season’s key adviser. Kelly is joining The Voice as a coach next season, and we got a taste of what it’s going to be like to have her amazing voice and bubbly personality on the show.

Despite being too short to sit in the big red chairs and keep her feet on the ground — Blake Shelton offered her an ottoman — Kelly was loving being on The Voice. “Oh, my God. I’m gonna be in one of these chairs,” Kelly said as she sat in a chair. “I’m super excited! I love this show!”

Clarkson inspires everyone

Getting tips from a winner of a reality singing competition was very inspiring for the Voice contestants, and it turns out she was also an inspiration to fellow American Idol alum, Jennifer Hudson. “I remember watching you. That’s what made me want to go audition,” Hudson told Kelly.

While Kelly was cool with giving advice to the contestants, she wasn’t quite ready to take over all of the coaching duties. When Blake asked her to make the decision on who to keep for him, Kelly replied, “My season doesn’t start till next season, so I don’t have to make those hard decisions. I’m just here to help.”

Even though there’s still plenty of drama left in this season, seeing Kelly on the show has us ready for the next season to begin.

The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on NBC. Watch clips and full episodes of The Voice free on Yahoo View.
