Kelly Clarkson fans can't seem to keep it together as a video of her latest cover goes viral.
The Grammy-winning singer recently covered "Chemical" by Post Malone during the "Kellyoke" segment of her talk show, sharing a clip of it to Instagram where viewers said they felt "lucky" to be able to listen to someone as talented as Clarkson sing, but also noted that the cover was so profound, it's "ruining" them.
Shortly after the moment was posted, the comments quickly filled up with praise from fans who claim Clarkson has "the voice of an angel!????," is someone who "can make any song sound amazing!" and a "Stunning lady in every sense of the word ???? ??."
"Like how amazing is she ??????," someone else shared.
"This cover is ruining meeeee [sic]," another admitted.
"WOW Those runs ????," a different Instagram user gushed. "Can never get enough of Kelly’s singing ??????."
Some are even convinced that once the 42-year-old sings a tune, it automatically becomes her hit, with one top-liked comment suggesting, "Once Kelly covers your song, it's her song after that."
Then there were those begging for a duet from the American Idol alum and 28-year-old rapper.
"Ohhhhhh I need this on an album," one fan begged. "Post collab in the future?!?"
"Another brilliant performance!" a second exclaimed. "Both @postmalone and @kellyclarkson are amazing - duet?"
While there's no official word on the potential for a recorded–or live–duet from the "Because of You" songstress and Post Malone, it's certainly not out of the question. The rapper only recently collaborated with another pop superstar, Taylor Swift, on the single "Fortnight" from her eleventh studio album, The Tortured Poets Department.
