Kelly Rowland Goes Green in Pleated Leather Dress at Tod’s Dinner in Los Angeles
Kelly Rowland modeled one of this season’s biggest color trends at a Los Angeles dinner honoring Tod’s fall 2024 collection on Wednesday.
The singer selected a green pleated leather midi dress from the label’s spring 2025 line, which she paired with chunky statement jewelry, brown round-toe boots and a black handbag. Rowland wore her dark tresses in a sleek bob, topping off her look with nude lip gloss.

Emerald, chartreuse and olive tones are poised for popularity this season following Pantone’s Color Trend Report. At New York Fashion Week in February, leafy hues like Fern, Aventurine and Golden Palm as three of the most popular colors favored by designers.
Naomi Campbell made an appearance on the runway at Tod’s spring 2025 show, which debuted during Milan Fashion Week in September. The supermodel sported a cream draped halter and white pleated trousers, accessorizing with a chunky bracelet and one of the label’s taupe reptilian bucket bags.
Per WWD’s Milan Bureau Chief, Luisa Zargani, creative director Matteo Tamburini’s sophomore collection “proved he is embracing the brand’s world, aesthetics and values while pushing the envelope farther, experimenting with volumes, fabrics and fits.”
“The stage was set for Tamburini’s celebration of ‘Artisanal Intelligence,’ emphasizing the value of the individual — a message reiterated by Tod’s chairman and chief executive officer Diego Della Valle on the sidelines of the show,” she wrote.
In May, Rowland sported fall’s other trending shade, red, at a Baby2Baby press conference on maternal health. The singer opted for a button-up blouse from Valentino‘s 2024 resort collection.
Rouge hues dominated the runway during the fall 2023 season, with labels such as Valentino, Carolina Herrera and Emilia Wickstead ushering in a red renaissance. Stars including Selena Gomez, Florence Pugh and Ayo Edebiri have brought the trend into 2024, sporting scarlet shades at high-profile events like the Golden Globes.
