Kenny Chesney's Pup Makes On-Stage Debut—And 'Steals the Show'

There's only one thing Kenny Chesney fans might love more than seeing the country star in concert: witnessing the country star in concert alongside his adorable pup, Poncho.

As part of his Sun Goes Down Tour, the country crooner recently performed a concert at Soldier Field in Chicago, Ill., where he brought out a very special guest who wanted to say hello to the thousands of screaming fans.

As seen in photos shared to Chesney's social media pages, his adorable dog Poncho came out on stage at one point during the concert on Saturday, June 15, making the night extra memorable for everyone in attendance, including Poncho.

The pup looked happy as could be in the photos on stage with his dad, as he even walked down the stage runway next to Chesney, 56, who was holding on to his leash.

"So obsessed with Poncho," one of Chesney's fans gushed on Instagram, while someone else joked, " Sorry Kenny, but Poncho stole the show!! ??."

"What a good pup ??!" another fan reacted, calling Chesney's four-legged friend simply "Precious ??."

The "Take Her Home" singer took to social media after the show to thank fans for coming out to support him (and Poncho), while writing to those who attended the show, "Chicago, last night you gave us everything we could ask for and more."

"Being on stage and feeling your wave of love in the moment was so magical," he said, adding, "Thank you for that and know we love you."

"Last night was special for a lot of reasons, but Poncho made his stage debut last night and he loves the crowd almost as much as his dad," he quipped.

"Thanks again for one special night in Chicago," the post concluded.
