Kerry Washington filmed for “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Wednesday night and arrived dress to impress. The actress went for a bit of powerful business woman vibe for the appearance, wearing an oversized grey skirt suit. She paired the look with a set of the satin ‘Mia 110’ heels from RODO in black.
Washington’s black heels are described by the brand as a high heel satin pump with tapered toe with refined and feminine lines that enrich the iconic model. The tall stiletto heel on the back is a little over four inches high. The shoe is also cut low on the foot, exposing the top and sides of the foot while still adhering to the classic pump design. The effect of the low-cut vamp lengthens the leg visually. The Mia 110 is priced at $645.
Black pointed-toe stiletto pumps like this are common. Brands like Christian Louboutin have many like the Kate and the So Kate style. Other brands like Le Silla, Jimmy Choo, Manolo Blahnik and more also offer black pointed-toe pump that offer small, almost hard to perceive differences from each other. Some brands like Balenciaga offer pumps with sharpened, stylized details.
Having worked with the stylist due Mariel Haenn and Rob Zagardi since Law Roach retired from doing all clients except Zendaya and Celine Dion, Washington has quite the shoe wardrobe. She enjoys a chic, classic pump in black or nude. At the Michael Kors spring 2025 show, she wore a pair of patent leather pumps. She paired those with a suiting look as well. When she was in Paris for fashion week this summer, she wore a pair of black cap-toe pump designed by Karl Lagerfeld in 2016. Those shoes included a gold embellishment on the heel.
While promoting “UnPrisoned” on “Good Morning America” she wore a pair of nude pumps from Le Silla. They were the company’s Ivy shoe which notably include a scalloped rim. The same promotional tour saw he wearing another pair of nude pumps featuring a pointed vamp. They were a d’orsay-style shoe.
Earlier this week, she wore a pair of satin heels from Aquazzura. They include a thick platform and a block heel. The shoes served her for the ACLU SoCal Bill of Rights Dinner in Los Angeles. Washington was on “Kimmel!” to talk about working with Tyler Perry and Oprah on the new movie “The Six Triple Eight” as well as her YouTube series “Street You Grew Up On.” Watch the full interview above.
