Kesha Makes Bold Declaration About Taylor Swift's Role in Her Last Breakup
Taylor Swift may be known for writing chart-topping breakup songs, but Kesha's experience with the "Karma" songstress and breakups goes far beyond music.
The "Die Young" singer recently sat down to talk about her new music, including her newest single "Joyride," which marked her first music release since settling her years-long legal dispute with music producer Dr. Luke.

But while discussing her rebirth in the industry, Kesha also recalled becoming free of her ex through her latest breakup, which actually had something to do with Swift, 34.
"I had a feeling that he was in it for the wrong reasons and was a bit of a starf—ker," Kesha, 37, told Elle in the new interview published Thursday, Oct. 3.
"I decided to test that theory and took one of my friends instead of him to Taylor Swift's party," she explained. "He came over the next day and broke up with me."
After seeing Kesha's story about how the breakup went down on social media, many fans were amused by Taylor's inadvertent involvement in the ordeal.
"That's [the] magic of Taylor Swift," one fan quipped on X (formerly Twitter, while someone else wrote, "thanks Taylor."
"taylor saving a woman's heart, love to see it," another user joked.
Some fans were also cracking jokes about Kesha's ex's side of the story, including one fan who wrote, "To be fair I would also break up with my partner if they didn't invite me to Taylor Swift's party."
But, at least for the "We R Who We R" singer, the situation seemed to work out for the best.
Now, Kesha's perspective on romance and partnership has shifted, as she told the outlet, “I’m only going to enter into a partnership again if someone treats me as well as I treat myself."
