Kesha’s name returns to ‘Timber’ video title on YouTube after Pitbull responds to situation
Kesha’s name has officially returned to the YouTube title of her 2013 hit “Timber” with singer/rapper Pitbull.
This comes after Pitbull responded to speculation that Kesha’s name was intentionally removed.
In a post to X, formerly Twitter, on Sunday, Pitbull wrote that he and Kesha “have an incredible song together, nothing will change this. Team Pitbull is looking into this matter. Always nothing but love for Kesha, Dale!”

This all started because fans noticed that the music video simply read: “Pitbull- ‘Timber’ Official Video” when it once included “featuring Kesha.”
However, on Monday, the title officially read as: “Pitbull, Ke$ha – ‘Timber’ (featuring Ke$ha – Official Video).” The “We R Who We R” singer used to spell her name with a money symbol but recently removed it.
Kesha fans took to social media, calling it an act of revenge by American songwriter and producer Dr. Luke.

In 2014, Kesha accused Dr. Luke of raping her, and he responded by suing her for defamation. The two settled the years-long case in 2023.
