Kevin Bacon's Cocktail Dedicated to Simone Biles Is a 'Brilliant Tribute' to Gymnastics GOAT
Kevin Bacon is honoring gymnastics legend Simone Biles in the best way he knows how: with a cocktail, of course!
The Footloose actor had the perfect drink recipe to share in honor of Biles' success at the Summer 2024 Paris Olympics, where she's already won three gold medals.
To pay tribute to Biles and her G.O.A.T (Greatest Of All Time) status, Bacon took to Instagram on Friday, Aug. 2 to share the recipe for his creative concoction, giving fans a tutorial for making the refreshing cocktail.
In the wholesome IG video, the 66-year-old actor starts with tequila, which he said he "doesn't really measure." He continued with, "plenty of lime," stating, "I like things pretty lime-y."
Then, Bacon added, "Some chili powder—because [Biles] is fire!"
He added a bit of ice and "just a dash of maple syrup," to make the drink a little sweeter.
While shaking up his cocktail, Bacon spilled the one secret ingredient that completes the drink: "a goat that's been chilling." He moved a glass filled with ice in front of the camera, showing off a small goat figurine hanging off the rim like a garnish.
"And I call this drink the Iced-Out Goat," he said, before telling Biles, "Congratulations Simone."
Biles, 27, proved to be a literal "iced-out goat" during the Games in Paris this week, where she even wore a silver chain with a goat pendant around her neck after winning gold in the women's all-around individual finals.
"A drink fit for a GOAT. ?? Congrats @simonebiles and the entire women’s gymnastics team!" Bacon wrote in the caption on his Instagram post, which had fans fawning over the sweet tribute.
"Awesome as always Kev," one of his followers applauded, while someone else called Bacon and Biles "Two icons ????."
"I hope she sees this and knows about your goats," someone else said, referencing the record-breaking athlete. "This is a freaking brilliant tribute from one GOAT to another!"
