Kevin Hart movies: 12 greatest films ranked worst to best
Turn on the TV, and there’s Kevin Hart. Everywhere. If it’s not some new miniseries he’s popping up in, it’s the commercials that appear at every break, whether it’s for a new credit card or a sports betting app. Think you can avoid him on streaming? There’s Kevin Hart stand-up specials everywhere for the adults, and, for the kids, Kevin Hart-voiced characters in numerous animated features (plus a stint on “The Masked Singer”). You might as well give in. It’s Kevin Hart’s world. Resistance is futile.
Hart’s presence is so ubiquitous that we sometimes forget that he’s also an actor, and a very good one at that. From wild action flicks like the “Jumanji” reboot series (2017 and 2019), to romantic dramas like “About Last Night” (2014) and “Top Five” (2014), to buddy comedies like “Central Intelligence” (2016) and “The Upside” (2017), Hart has shown a surprising range in his many roles on film. Certainly, he always brings the funny, but in a number of his best movies, he has layered in elements of drama to create rich, fully-developed characters.
