Kevin James set to perform at the Berglund Center in June
ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – Stand-up and television comedy star Kevin James will be performing at the Berglund Center on June 1.
Known for his sit-com series, The King of Queens, and his comedy specials, including the Comedy Central specials ‘Sweat the Small Stuff’ and ‘Never Don’t Give Up,’ which premiered on Netflix, Kevin James has become an icon and well-loved fan favorite.

James began stand-up in Long Island, New York. He is a native of Montreal Canada, where he was discovered at a comedy festival in 1996. Kevin has been in multiple TV series, and movies, and has been an executive producer, as well as being nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series.
His movie career started with Hitch, starting with Will Smith, and also includes Paul Blart: Mall Cop 1 and 2, Zookeeper, Here Comes The Boom, Pixels, Grown Ups 1 and 2, I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, Hubie Halloween, True Memoirs of an International Assassin, Home Team for Netflix, and Becky.
The event is 8 p.m. on June 1 at the Berglund Center. Parking will be $10.00.
