Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson return to L.A., as her family works to move past cheating scandal
Khloé and Tristan take Los Angeles. The on-again couple returned to California for the first time since the NBA player’s cheating scandal.
Kardashian, 33, and Thompson, 27, made the trip out west with their baby girl, True, ahead of Father’s Day on Sunday. The KarJenners welcomed Khloé and True home with open arms. And as for the Cleveland Cavaliers star? Well, they’re working on it.
Khloé’s famous family was fuming after it was revealed Thompson cheated on his then-pregnant girlfriend multiple times. After the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star gave birth in April, she gave her baby daddy a second chance, and the Kardashian-Jenners are trying to do the same.
“Obviously, no one can forget what he did, but they just want Khloé to be happy,” a source close to the family tells Yahoo Entertainment. “She’s made up her mind to trust him again, and they trust her. It will take time, and he has to prove himself, but they want the best for Khloé and True.”
That means spending time together. On Monday, Kardashian and Thompson were photographed out to dinner at Nobu Malibu with Kris Jenner and Corey Gamble. The new parents then went to Peppermint Club, where they were joined by Kendall Jenner.
Khloé, who is an avid fitness enthusiast, gave birth two months ago and recently got cleared to start working out again. While she’s excited to bounce back into shape, the Good American designer made it clear she’s not going to take extreme measures to get her pre-baby body back.
I truly dislike when people report I’ve lost a tremendous amount of weight in a short amount of time or when people claim I’m doing these ridiculous diets. It’s really setting the wrong tone. I believe in making lifestyle changes when it comes to my food.

Dieting is great but dieting doesn’t typically create long lasting results. I also believe that working out is so incredibly healthy and should be done to each individuals own rhythm of life. There’s no one size fits all when health and fitness.

It’s unclear how long Khloé and Tristan will remain in Los Angeles, but her family is happy to have her nearby. Kylie Jenner decorated Khloé’s house with pink and white balloons, courtesy of her and Stormi.
