Killer Cakes: Matthew Lillard, Danielle Harris to Unleash ‘Disgusting’ and ‘Disturbing’ Baked Goods in New Special — Get Exclusive First Look
The world of baking competition series is about to get a deliciously gory twist: Matthew Lillard (Scream) and Danielle Harris (the Halloween franchise) are slicing up some Killer Cakes in a two-part Prime Video special that’s set to drop Thursday, Oct. 8.

Created by horror maestros Blumhouse Television and baking pros High Noon Entertainment (Cake Boss), Killer Cakes is “a one-of-a-kind competition show where bakers with terrifying skills attempt to win some of the most frightening challenges ever produced for television,” according to the official description. “Contestants will work with the best horror special effects artists in Hollywood to unleash their twisted imaginations and create cakes so disgusting, so disturbing and so realistic, it’s the stuff of nightmares.”
Lillard will host the competition, while Harris and experimental artist/cookbook author Nikk Alcaraz serve as judges.

Shanelle Long, Pensacola, Fla.
Ruth Amsel (Cake Wars) is the showrunner, with Jason Blum, Gretchen Palek, Scott Feeley and Lillard on board as executive producers.
