Kim Porter’s Dad “Disgusted” By 2016 Video Of Diddy Assaulting Cassie

Kim Porter’s father has finally broken his silence regarding the 2016 video of Diddy assaulting Cassie, and he’s “disgusted” by what he saw.

Jake Porter, 78, spoke to Rolling Stone about the footage and offered his unfiltered opinion on the matter, saying, “You can say I was disgusted with the video, and I wouldn’t treat my enemy like that. It was despicable. I couldn’t believe it. I was in Vietnam, and I wouldn’t do that to my enemy.” Mr. Porter then admitted that he had never seen or heard anything “to that extent” happening to his late daughter, but “it made me wonder,” with the man stating that the footage gave him a “different outlook” on Puffy.

Later in the conversation, Kim’s father gave more insight into his daughter’s relationship with Sean Combs and asserted that she genuinely loved him. However, he stated that she “just couldn’t live with” him under one roof, saying, “I think he was a very jealous person. They both loved each other. Kim’s love was legitimate. Puffy’s love, I don’t know what he calls love. I really don’t think he has any idea what love is.”

Ending his thoughts on the matter, Jake Porter insisted that he isn’t worried about Combs and that “my concern is the children” and sent love to Cassie in the aftermath of the video.

Kim Porter’s father isn’t the only person who has recently broken their silence on the footage. Dame Dash issued his opinion in a recent episode of Choppin’ It UpThe business mogul explained that it was “very disappointing” to see the footage, expressing, “…To see that from someone that I considered my peer… we’re the brotherhood of Hip-Hop, [we’ve] showed a certain degree of respect, but you can’t unsee that, and it’s really a shame.”

Dash then began to put himself in the shoes of Cassie Ventura’s family. He explained that if Combs had similarly abused his daughters, there would be irreversible consequences like death.

“And what I think when I see that… Number one, I got daughters,” he continued. “So, you know, if that were something I would to see happening to my daughter… Puff—he’s dead. I’d go do the time or I’d figure out how not to do the time, but I don’t think I could handle watching another man or any man touching or doing any kind of violence to my daughters.”
