Kim Zolciak-Biermann of 'RHOA' cries while stating racism isn't 'real'
Kim Zolciak-Biermann made some outrageous claims last night during part three of the Season 10 reunion of Real Housewives of Atlanta. If you don’t remember, during this past season of RHOA, Zolciak-Biermann said that her co-star Nene Leakes lived in a “roach nest,” something that many women in the show felt was racist. Kandi Burruss had to explain to Zolciak-Biermann that people “equate roaches with the projects,” and thus calling Leakes’s house roach-infested is saying that she “lives in the projects.”
Things escalated and tensions grew. Once the taping was over, Zolciak-Biermann called host and executive producer Andy Cohen into the bathroom to discuss how frustrated she was. During this interaction, she made some outrageous claims about racism. “This whole racism thing, in this day and age, is bulls***. Everyone of those motherf***ers on that couch owe this world a f***ing apology for this racism s***. … Nobody really bought into it because the social media wasn’t there, and racism wasn’t all that real.” Yikes.
Last week it was reported that Zolciak-Biermann will not be returning to RHOA. Cohen has even stated that he would be “surprised” if she returned.
