Kimberly Guilfoyle is out at Fox News. Reports claim the co-host of The Five will hit the campaign trail with boyfriend Donald Trump Jr. ahead of November’s midterm elections. Guilfoyle joined the network in 2006 as a legal analyst and weekend host.
Fox News confirmed her departure to Yahoo Entertainment in a brief statement: “Fox News has parted ways with Kimberly Guilfoyle.” There are conflicting reports as to whether Guilfoyle’s exit was her decision or the network’s. The Huffington Post cites three sources who say Trump Jr.’s girlfriend did not leave voluntarily.
Details of Guilfoyle’s new role are unclear, although it’s believed she will take a job at America First Policies, a nonprofit organization that supports President Trump‘s key policy initiatives.
Andrew Surabian, who is an adviser and spokesperson for Trump Jr., seemingly confirmed the news on Twitter, calling the move a “win for the entire GOP.”
Having @kimguilfoyle on the trail campaigning with @DonaldJTrumpJr for Republicans this fall is a win for the entire GOP. Kim is one of the most influential voices in the #MAGA movement and knows how to light up a crowd. https://t.co/WIbS6PKK3P

Guilfoyle already campaigns well with and for her boyfriend. This week, she called Trump Jr. “the No. 1 up-and-coming political figure on the right” in an interview with Breitbart Radio.
“He has a compelling political voice. He is incredibly bright. I have seen him at these different rallies,” she said. “He is a person that people can understand, he’s very approachable. He is very relatable with his background and his interests. … He actually puts the time in and the effort to understand the base, because he is the base. He gets out there and actually talks to the real people, the men and women who have been left behind in this country.”
Guilfoyle has been a longtime family friend of the Trumps. The 49-year-old television personality began dating the president’s older son in April, shortly after he and wife Vanessa Trump split. Vanessa filed for divorce in March after 12 years of marriage. They have five children.
Vanessa and Donald Jr. were separated for months before divorce news broke, and she has publicly supported her ex-husband’s new romance. When people were calling for Guilfoyle’s resignation from Fox News because of her personal relationship with Trump Jr., Vanessa jumped in to defend Guilfoyle.
The lengths people will go to attack a woman simply because she’s dating Don. We’ve been separated for over 9 months and respect each other’s decisions & privacy. We’ll focus on raising our great kids.Would be nice if the press did the same rather than obsess over our pvt lives! https://t.co/fa73W3gv43

Trump Jr., 40, and Guilfoyle have flaunted their new love on social media, documenting trips to Montana, Paris, and even the White House for Fourth of July.
