Kimmel Grills ‘GOT’ Star About Jon Snow

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live on Thursday to promote his new film, Gods of Egypt. Of course, Jimmy used the opportunity to grill the actor, who plays Jaime Lannister on Game of Thrones, about whether Jon Snow is dead. Jimmy asked, “How many times a day would you say you get asked that?” Nikolaj replied, “I kind of preempt it now. Whenever I meet someone, I just say, ‘Jon Snow is dead.’”

Jimmy didn’t seem to be satisfied with that answer, though, and asked if any of the show’s more magical elements would come into play in Jon Snow’s death. Nikolaj answered, “Spoiler: At the end of Season 5 he was dead.” As if that wasn’t clear enough, Jimmy pressed on: “Is he still walking? Can he still walk?” To which Nikolaj finally replied, “He’s stabbed 50 times in the heart, you know. He’s not moving. He’s out cold. He’s gone.”

Jimmy Kimmel Live airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. on ABC.
