Kings of Leon to head ‘Back Down South’ for show at the Orion Amphitheater
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – The iconic rock band will bring their “Can We Please Have Fun” tour to Huntsville in September.
Formed in Mount Juliet, Tenn. in 1999, Kings of Leon is made up of brothers Caleb, Nathan and Jared Followill as well as their cousin Matthew Followill. The three brothers grew up as preacher’s sons, playing in churches all across the South.

The band gained massive success when the three singles from the 2008 album “Only by the Night” — “Sex on Fire,” “Use Somebody” and “Notion” — all peaked on the Hot Modern Rock Tracks.
Kings of Leon has won two BRIT awards, four Grammys and two GAFFA awards, and has been nominated for several others.
The “Can We Please Have Fun” tour will be at the Orion Amphitheater on September 13, 2024. The show starts at 8 p.m. with Phantogram as the opener.
Ticket prices run between $44.50 and $154.50 and can be purchased through the AXS website.
