Kit Harington looks insanely ripped in shirtless backstage shot at West End’s ‘Slave Play’

Kit Harington looked absolutely ripped in a new photo taken backstage of the West End production of “Slave Play.”

The shirtless snap of the “Game of Thrones” star, 37, was posted by “Slave Play” playwright Jeremy O. Harris, 35, on Tuesday, July 23.

“Kits gonna kill me for posting this,” Harris wrote on his Instagram Story. “Share it so he will forgive me.”

The actor is currently starring in Harris’ Tony-nominated “Slave Play” on London’s West End. Harington did not comment on the post as he is not on social media.

The photo showed the star looking chiseled with his six-pack on display. He assumed a bodybuilder-style pose as he looked at the camera in what appeared to be his messy dressing room.

There also appeared to be two IV bags and drips on both edges of the picture.

Harris later added the photo to a carousel of pics on the main page of his Instagram, celebrating the start of the West End run of “Slave Play.”

The photo caught the eye of many of Harington’s fans on social media, with one person on X, formerly known as Twitter, captioning the steamy snap, “KIT HARINGTON I HAVE NO WORDS.”

Another person added, “Go see the play, you see more!

The actor is no stranger to showing off his fine physique in his work. Harington excited audiences with shirtless moments in “Game of Thrones” and his 2014 sword-and-sandal movie, “Pompeii.”

Harington has been playing the role of Jim in “Slave Play” since the London production opened on June 29 at the No?l Coward Theatre.

The play debuted on Broadway in October of 2019. It made history when it garnered 12 Tony nominations, breaking the record at the time for the most Tony nominations received by a non-musical play. However, the show ended up going home without any trophies.

“Slave Play” follows three interracial couples undergoing a form of sex therapy called “Antebellum Sexual Performance Therapy” after the black partners no longer feel sexual attraction to their white lovers.

Harington had reservations about joining the cast at first, according to Harris.

“Kit was saying, ‘I don’t want this to be Kit Harington in Slave Play. This is an ensemble play and I’m not even the lead,’” Harris told the Guardian in February.

“He knows the weight his name carries and how that could become a distraction, if we allowed it to be.”
