Both shows begin at 7 p.m. and feature an opening act. On Friday, Katie Pruitt will open; on Saturday, it'll be Michael Marcagi.
Where is Alpine Valley?
The music theatre's address is 2699 County Road D in East Troy, nestled between Elkhorn and East Troy.
The amphitheater can host up to 37,000 fans, with 7,500 in the sheltered seating area and a large lawn area accommodating the rest.
The venue has hosted a series of iconic shows during its nearly 50 years of operation, though it did go dark for the 2017 season and was sold to a publicly held company in 2019.
Its rotating cast of regulars have included acts catering to the "jam band" crowd, including DMB, Phish, the Zac Brown Band, Dead & Company and Jimmy Buffett.

When was the last time Dave Matthews Band was in Milwaukee?
The band regularly visits the area, most recently last summer (June 29, 2023) at Summerfest, but it routinely makes trips to Alpine Valley. Setlist.fm indicates DMB has played 37 shows at the venue, dating to 1998.
The band last came to Alpine Valley July 2 and 3, 2022, and also played two shows at Alpine Valley in 2019, 2016, 2015, 2013, 2012 and every year from 2002 to 2010. Plus twice more in 2000 and 1999, when the band played both Summerfest and Alpine Valley. DMB also came to Summerfest in 2021, 2018 and 2014.
Saturday might be the biggest Milwaukee music day ever
The band's shows will play Friday, June 21 and Saturday, June 22, playing concurrently with Summerfest on Milwaukee's lakefront. But that's not all; on Saturday, Kenny Chesney and Zac Brown Band will play at American Family Field, and the Tacos and Tequila Festival will take place in Franklin.

Expect traffic jams at Alpine Valley for the Dave Matthews Band concerts
Isolated in the rolling hills of East Troy, Alpine Valley is a special place to see a show. It also has a reputation for bad traffic. The drive for the last two miles into the Alpine lots can last a full hour before a sold-out show.
On the bright side, parking is free.
Consider bringing some rain gear to the Dave Matthews Band concerts at Alpine Valley
According to the National Weather Service, the East Troy area has a 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms Friday, mainly before 9 p.m. On Saturday, there's a 90% chance of rain and more opportunity for afternoon thunderstorms.
