Kodak Black All Smiles At Donald Trump Rally Despite Ignorant Remarks About Haitians
Kodak Black doesn’t seem to be losing any sleep over Donald Trump’s racist remarks towards Haitians. On Wednesday (Sept. 18), former President Trump took to Uniondale, New York, where he hit the ground for his latest Republican rally, gearing up for the 2024 election.
Kodak could be seen attending the rally, spotted snapping pictures with devoted Trump supporters in a sea of anti-Kamala Harris-Tim Walz signs. A video of the rapper making his way through the crowd of fanatics hit the internet on Wednesday evening. The one-second clip shows Yak smiling in yet another photo with a woman rocking the infamous Make America Great Again hat.
Donald Trump’s rally speech touched on a multitude of topics, such as border control and vowing to deport migrants, which he detailed using more racist tropes, as per CBS News.
“I’ve been talking about [migrants] for five years now,” Trump said during the NY rally. “I said if you let them in, it will be hell. They are vicious, violent criminals that are being let into our country.”
Kodak’s appearance at the New York rally arrives days after the rapper addressed the politician’s insensitive remarks against Haitians. Black appeared as a guest on Sexyy Red’s Columbus, Ohio, tour stop, playing a snippet of Trump’s comments.
“Of course I’m angry. We got 21 million people that came into our country invading our communities, invading our cities and our towns, and destroying our country,” Trump was heard saying on the recording. “I’m angry about Venezuelan gangs taking over Aurora, Colorado, and I’m angry about illegal Haitian migrants taking over Springfield, Ohio. You see that mess, don’t you?”
Kodak then spoke to the audience, questioning the validity of the clip. The Florida native then declared his support for the controversial politician, saying, “That sh*t crazy. That sh*t true? Man, I ain’t gonna lie, homie, I’m a muthaf**king Trump supporter. I’m Haitian. How y’all feel about this election sh*t? I feel like we f**ked anyway. I ain’t with that Kamala Harris sh*t either. What the f**k going on in America?”
