Korean Spy Drama ‘Tempest’ Casts 6 Including Spencer Garrett, Joel De La Fuente & Michael Gaston
EXCLUSIVE: The Disney+ and Hulu Korean spy drama Tempest has added Spencer Garrett (Winning Time, For All Mankind), Brooke Smith (Big Sky, Class of ’09), Tom Lenk (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Michael Gaston (The Mentalist, The Man in the High Castle), Joel de la Fuente (The Man in the High Castle) and Romy Rosemont (Big Sky, Glee) to its cast, sources reveal to Deadline.
They join the previously announced cast Gianna Jun, Gang Dongwon, John Cho, Christopher Gorham, Alicia Hannah-Kim and Jacob Bertrand. Character descriptions outside of the two leads are under wraps.

Disney+ and Hulu tease “assassinations, political games, conspiracies and spies will collide” in 2025 when Tempest premieres in the United States. Production is currently underway in Seoul.
From writer Chung Seokyung, Tempest follows Seo Munju (Gianna Jun), a highly accomplished diplomat and former ambassador to the United States, and Sanho (Gang Dongwon), an international special agent shrouded in a veil of secrets, as they race to uncover the truth behind an attack that threatens the future stability of the Korean peninsula.
Tempest is directed by Kim Heewon (Queen of Tears, Little Women) and co-directed by Korean martial arts director Heo Myunghaeng (The Outlaws 4). The series is produced by Imaginus, Showrunners, Studio AA and Action School.
