Kristen Bell attended a limited-edition collaboration launch for The Great and Red Wing Heritage held in Los Angeles on Aug. 22.
The collab is focused around a work boot silhouette, updated in color-blocked shades of indigo, army green and brown. The boot also features special floral-embossed brown leather. The Great designers Emily Current and Meritt Elliott hosted the event at their favorite Los Angeles-based restaurant All Time. Beyond Bell, other notable attendees included friends and followers of the brand Mindy Kaling, Mandy Moore, Rachel Bilson and Nikki Reed, among others.
The “Frozen” star supported both brands by lacing up the aforementioned collaborative boot in a neutral-toned colorway. The style featured lush leather uppers in shades of brown and tan accompanied by contrasting white stitching and light-brown laces. White rubber soles finished off the set, offering the footwear a non-slip feel, a utilitarian detail that is found in most work boot styles.
Most if not all of the celebrity guests at the collaboration launch wore the same boots in different colorways that matched their outfits. While the silhouette is most popular during the fall and winter seasons, Bell pulled the look ahead of the colder months, giving her look an outdoorsy feel.
Speaking of her look, the “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” star wore a maxi-length dress in bronzy and pink hues fixed with a psychedelic meets floral print. The garment was made of a silky high-shine material. Overtop her boho-inspired dress, Bell layered on a cropped denim jacket in a distressed style with metal hardware.
The “Queenpins” actress is known for wearing slippers, slides and clogs by Birkenstock, Ugg and Allbirds when off-duty. Bell also often wears comfy sneakers by Nike and Under Armour, as well as Dr. Martens boots. Bell’s red carpet footwear includes styles from Christian Louboutin, Brian Atwood, Stuart Weitzman and Jimmy Choo.
