Kristen Bell's Daughter Goes to ER After Finger Smash: 'It Popped Like a Jelly Donut'

Kristen Bell took her daughter to her first ever emergency room visit after she smashed her finger so hard "it popped like a jelly donut."

"The Good Place" actress provided graphic details about their recent ER visit at Children's Hospital in Los Angeles, which ended in a hairline fracture.

Posting a picture on IG late Thursday of her daughter's bloody finger all bandaged up, Bell revealed the injury was caused by a door slam.

"First emergency room visit. One hairline fracture and a finger smushed so hard in the door it popped like a jelly donut," were her exact words.

The actress took time out to thank the staff and doctors who attended to her injured daughter's needs.

Bell says the visit was surprisingly nice despite the injury.

"Did you know that when you enter the emergency room at@childrensla you immediately get a 'Child Life Specialist' trained to make sure your child knows what happening?" she raved. "And to make sure you understand all of what's happening and your choices? It made us feel so safe."

She even says that they followed up the next day with a phone call "to make sure all is well after the trauma."

Despite including a PG pic of the aftermath, Bell wrote that she wouldn't be attaching a snap of the actual injury because "there was literally burger popping out all over and it as pretty gross."

It's unclear which of Bell and Dax Shepard's kids was the injured party as they have two daughters, Delta Bell, 4, and Lincoln, 6.

Get well soon!
