Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler are selling their extravagant Nashville home for $7.9M — see the photos
Very Cavallari stars Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler are moving on.
The former star of The Hills and her former NFL player hubby still plan to live in Nashville, where she’s opened a store for her lifestyle brand, Uncommon James, but they won’t be doing it in the same house. They’ve put their sprawling Nashville mansion on the market for a hefty chunk of change: $7.9 million, according to Trulia.
While the price is high, the place is amazing. The 19,983 square-foot home, built in 2007, has 25 rooms, including seven bedrooms and 10 bathrooms. It sits on eight-and-a-half acres in a quiet neighborhood that Cutler, for one, truly appreciated.
“I think one of the most appealing things is the location,” the dad of three told the Tennessean. “We loved the privacy of the neighborhood, but being so close to town.”
Of course, traveling anywhere from the mansion isn’t much of a problem because the garage houses seven cars.
But the very best part of the residence has to be the basement, with its screening room and bar area, which Cavallari and Cutler added. (The couple bought the home in 2012 for $5.3 million, before making the improvements.)
“This house has a lot to offer,” Cutler told the local newspaper. “We have a lot of memories in that house and we will miss it. We got married and had three children since we have owned that house, so it’s been a huge part of our life and hopefully someone will enjoy it as much as we have.”
Here, in Cutler’s words, is more about what it has to offer:
In March, the couple snapped one of their final photos in the house, on the night they celebrated the launch of Cavallari’s store.
My hot date to the @uncommonjames store launch party last night ??
