Kristin Cavallari sent Stephen Colletti her cookbook and made the best 'Laguna Beach' joke
Kristin Cavallari gifted Stephen Colletti her new cookbook True Comfort — and the inscription to her ex-boyfriend was perfect.
“Stephen,” Cavallari wrote. “Come a long way from pasta tasting like feet, huh?!”
Laguna Beach fans probably recall when Cavallari and Jessica Smith cooked Colletti and Dieter Schmitz dinner in Season 1. The girls attempted to impress their then-boyfriends by making bowtie pasta with chicken and alfredo sauce. But it didn’t exactly go well.
“I just had the weirdest bite,” Colletti said during the dinner.
“Why does it taste so bad?” added Schmitz.
When Cavallari recapped the meal the next day, she admitted the food “tasted like feet.”
Colletti found his ex’s message to him amusing. The One Tree Hill actor shared a photo of the note on his Instagram story, writing, “Primo Cavallari al dente.” Naturally, he included several feet emojis.
Fans are loving Cavallari and Colletti’s rekindled friendship. During an appearance on Brett Gursky’s On the List podcast, the Uncommon James founder said the recent Instagram picture she posted with her ex was her most-liked photo ever.
“I knew it was going to create a little commotion, I didn't know to what degree,” Cavallari admitted. “That’s my most-liked photo on Instagram ever. More than my kids. More than anything in my life… I mean, I think it’s really neat that people are still so invested and it really takes people back to that time.”

Despite the cozy photo, Cavallari said she and Colletti are just friends.
“Everyone was like, ‘Oh my god, are they back together?’ I love Stephen, I've always loved Stephen, and clearly, you know, 15 years later we're still really good friends,” she added.
