KRON4 to air KCON, the world’s largest K-pop festival
(KRON) — KCON, the world’s largest K-pop festival, is being broadcast on KRON4 and The CW. The broadcast will air the last day of the three-day festival that takes place July 26-28 in Los Angeles.
The broadcast will be the first time a K-pop performance program is aired live in primetime on national television in the United States, according to CJ ENM Entertainment, the producers of KCON.
“We are beyond excited to partner with The CW to bring the electrifying M COUNTDOWN at KCON LA 2024 live to national primetime television,” said CJ ENM Head of Music Entertainment Harry H.K. Shin. “This historic broadcast is a testament to the incredible community of K-pop fans who have made these groups global sensations.”

Tune into KRON4 at 8 p.m. PT on Sunday, July 21 to watch the event (live on the East Coast and tape-delayed on the West Coast). The telecast will feature mostly the performances from the festival. The following acts will perform on the broadcast.

ITZY turns up Oakland crowd in first Bay Area concert
Zico recently released “Spot!” with Jennie of BLACKPINK, currently the world’s most famous girl group. P1Harmony, who performed in Oakland last month, is scheduled to perform on Friday, July 26. Notable acts on that Saturday include Enhypen and NMIXX.

KCON 2024 will take place at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. KCON started as a single-day event in 2012 in Irvine. It has since grown into an international event as the rise of the K-pop genre has grown in the U.S. and across the globe.
